Este día se creó con el objetivo de promover la profesión de la terapia ocupacional a nivel internacional. Se quiere visibilizar el trabajo y desarrollo de esta profesión\, y generar y difundir actividades locales\, nacionales e internacionales relacionadas con esta profesión.
